Everything is taken care of by God
It’s not owing to his own abilities that man can be cured. It is God who heals. You should feel that your entire being is full of sin, full of darkness. If, however, you resort to God, the Lord takes away the sin, the passions, the darkness and the disease as well; He heals man and provides the light. But you need to stand before God like this: “Whatever the cost may be, my God, make me humble and let me truly repent. Make me come back to you, see the sin and turn to you, who are the light and salvation”. If you speak like this, God saves you.

When someone renounces himself and goes against his will he, then, has nothing to take care of and is no longer afraid. Everything is taken care of by God.
