Sin literally upsets man. Guilt comes, remorse comes and man experiences God’s providence as if it were a whip. Where could we hide? God is every- where. Let us go back to God with hearts fully trust- ing Him. It’s only God who can redeem man from sin and forgive him. That’s the only way for man to feel that the whole burden of guilt is removed. There is no salvation, unless God saves us.
Here is why spiritual life is considered to be the art of arts. Let every negative thing in us, every mean streak in us, become the reason we go to Christ and invoke Him, instead of leaving Him. Christ is close. He expects you to call Him, He wishes to come and work in your soul. Let us not live carelessly or ir- responsibly. Let us not keep ourselves busy for the sake of being busy, but by taking action, let us re- nounce ourselves and run to Christ.
