When we do not give the honor and respect due to the Saints of God, this is
disrespect, ingratitude, indifference, and lack of desire for perfection in virtue.

Infinite desires
Since man's heart has been created to be inhabited by God, the ultimate
good, he is only moved and delighted with this good because in it is God. But
from the heart of the unbeliever God has departed. The heart has infinite
desires since it was created to contain within itself the infinite.
