Say the prayer “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me” without ceasing with
your mouth and with your mind. When the mouth grows tired, let the mind
begin. And again, when the mind becomes heavy, the mouth. Just don’t stop.
When you pray don’t imagine anything but pay attention only to the words of
the prayer.
