Father Timothy used to say: The Saints all their lives were starting over every day,
have a new beginning as they Saints said, and suddenly found themselves on the other
side. Let it seem as if one is not progressing. Spiritually every day we can begin our
lives anew, as if we were born on that day. When you fight to follow Christ, when you
struggle even to the point of bleeding to do His will, internally ask that God may give
you more life to repent to keep his commandments. But He knows when He will take
us. And He can take us just when we think we are still in the beginning and want to
make a new start, and suddenly we find ourselves in the Kingdom of God. Everything
is in God's hands, and we should believe it exactly like that and we should trust in
Him and leave ourselves in His hands. This is what God wants, and He knows how to
lead us.
