If you have a friend and they happen to be tempted into a sin of the flesh, help
them if you can by giving them your hand and pulling them up. But if that
friend of yours falls into heresy and is not persuaded at your words to give it
up, cut off from him at once, lest, by delaying with discussions, you also fall
into the abyss.
