Those who see a human romantically and externally shift the evil from the
persons to society, which is why they preach that the improvement of society
will bring improvement of persons. But the Orthodox, without denying the
importance of the social influence on persons, give priority to the
transformation of the person through penance and Divine Grace. It is a great
fallacy to want to change society without striving to change ourselves.
