An American industrialist at the age of 70 went bankrupt. His factory was repossessed by his creditors, his friends and relatives abandoned him, and he was left alone, old, and poor. In his desolation and abandonment, he came to know God. And though he was old, poor, and sick he was happy. God made him a different man. He lived with God for five years and died. And on his grave, he ordered, and they wrote: “Here lies a man 75 years old who lived only five years.”
