The humble man approaches the carnivorous beasts, and when their eyes fall
upon him, their ferocity becomes tame, and they approach him as their
master, and they move their heads attentively and lick his hands and feet
because they smell in him that fragrance which Adam had before the
transgression, when they gathered near him and he gave them names in
heaven. The body that Jesus received from us humans he rebuilt and gave to
us in his human presence. This is what scattered His fragrance to the
humans.
