Just as in a document, when the seal is not properly placed, the document is not valid, so and a cross that we do not do correctly is not a cross! It must be done correctly! First the forehead, then the abdomen, and then the 2 shoulder blades. The cross we make, symbolizes our own crucifixion, the crucifixion of our passions and of our will. Unfortunately, most people don’t know the power of the cross and make a cross that isn’t a cross. They move their hand as if they were stirring or beating the air. It’s a blasphemous thing to do!
