Father Paisios, I don’t know how to pray. How am I supposed to pray?
Imagine that you are a young kid, and that God is your Father. Then, begin asking things from Him. Do not worry about asking for important things only, he will not get upset if you ask for small, and even silly things. The Lord looks deep into your heart and will give you whatever is best for you. It is like a teenager asking his father to buy him a motorbike, because the teen believes he is able to handle it. The wise father, who is worried of anything bad happening to his child, may stall on the matter, but ultimately he will end up buying the teenager a car.
