God expects from every man to deny human curiosity, cowardice and disbelief. He expects man to go against his wish to see something wondrous first, to hear something, to understand something, to hold on to something first, and, then, believe.
Man should extricate himself from these thoughts and entrust himself to God, for the sake of God, for the sake of His love. Then God responds to this quest by giving man His love, He responds to this faith, and fills man with His presence.
In spiritual life, it is essential for someone to have an Elder; in other words, to, definitely, have someone to whom he will submit, obey and renounce his will. Nothing can be done without renouncing your will before an Elder.
