God showed His love in a concrete way, through His act of dying on the Cross –which surely was a divine act, but which He experienced as a human be- ing. So, if we’re Christians and love God, we’re called for to show our love and devotion in practice.
Do you long for God? Do you love God? Show it in practice. Do you have zeal, longing, yearning for God? Do you say good things about God, for God and towards God? This is all good. But you also need to show your love more practically and specifically. Act out of love, treat others with patience, and say a prayer and show humility and repentance at the specific time when a specific opportunity is given to you.
