When you think of death, then your whole atti- tude adjusts accordingly, and that’s why you don’t sin. Likewise, when you think what it’s like for someone to live in the true spirit of Christ, and how far you are from it, you automatically humble yourself.
Even if you have flaws, weaknesses, faults, this isn’t bad. What’s bad is not acknowledging them or not taking the proper attitude.
It doesn’t matter what state you are in. Do you believe in God, in all He reveals to us, in all He does for our salvation? Do you hear the message? Do you accept the truths and promises of God? If you do so, that is a great joy. Be afraid of nothing.
We don’t reach salvation or holiness, if we don’t go through pain, abandonment and death.
