Some people, even high-ranking ones, say: “Christ saves us”. And they do not take care of how they live.
Yes, Christ saves us, but watch yourself every min- ute of your day. How are things inside you? Watch how you go about living your life in the morning when you rise, at night and in every moment of the day. And you will come to see how sinful you are. However, do not lose heart. Persist on humbling yourself and repenting.
God will allow setbacks, storms, and earthquakes. He will let your soul get blackened by sin. But you shouldn’t be afraid. Besides, what does being a sol- dier mean? It means being at war. Forget being care- free or unconcerned. In this life we will constantly be in a, sort of, war zone. Life on earth is a stadium where we are called to exercise and be soldiers of Christ constantly drafted and in constant vigilance. That’s the truth.
