Let God take you wherever He wants to and make what He wants out of you. Can it be that you don’t have such courage to support His plan? At least, con- fess it: “Forgive me, my God. I have no further cour- age”. It’s all right. Don’t go further. Humble your- self accordingly, but don’t “close the door” for others thinking this is the end of the road. The road goes further on.
Sadness, melancholy, whatever else negative… throw them away. How should you go about throw- ing them away? Don’t pay the least attention to them and they will let go of you. Take leave of them and they will take leave of you. Don’t take them into ac- count, don’t give them any credit, and they will go away by themselves.
You will get carried away by these negative con- ditions and become prey to the devil unless you are careful and remain unaffected by your own will, thought and judgment.
