Love has been planted in man. He wants to be loved and to love, that’s the way he’s been created. Nobody else can love you as much as God does. And you can display as much love as you want to no one else, without tiring them, but only towards God.
If the soul takes a turn towards the Lord, it will start to love Him, and the Lord Himself will give us the love to love Him. Whatever the Lord asks for, He also gives it. But He will never give it, if you neither care nor are you interested at all.
You say that you repent, that you humble your self, but you don’t pay attention to some specific details. You go past the wounds you have and they fester. No, you should very specifically see what kind of sins you have and stop them
